1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using SoccerWork ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. The service
SoccerWork provides an online marketplace for football transfers, connecting players, clubs, academies and agents. We provide a technology platform — we are not a sports agency, employment agency, transfer intermediary or party to any transfer agreement.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Account registration
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account (minors may have profiles created by a parent/guardian — see Section 8).
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
- You may only hold one account per person. Duplicate accounts may be removed.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Credit system
Certain platform features require credits. Credits are a prepaid platform currency with no cash value.
- Credits are purchased via Stripe in one-time packages. Purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law.
- Welcome credits (5 credits on registration) are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- We reserve the right to change credit costs for actions with 30 days' notice.
- Credits expire if your account is dormant for 24 consecutive months. [TO COMPLETE: confirm or remove]
- We are not responsible for credits lost due to account termination for violation of these terms.
5. User content & conduct
You are solely responsible for content you post. By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it on the Platform.
You must not:
- Post false, misleading or fraudulent information (including fake career histories or club affiliations).
- Impersonate any person, club or organisation.
- Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
- Use the Platform for spam, scraping, automated queries or data harvesting.
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' accounts.
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Post content that is discriminatory, harassing, defamatory or obscene.
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules without notice.
6. Intellectual property
The Platform, including its design, code, trademarks and original content, is owned by SoccerWork and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our express written consent.
Club names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. SoccerWork does not claim ownership of third-party marks displayed on the Platform.
7. Clubs & verified listings
Club listings may be created by SoccerWork from public sources, or claimed by authorised representatives. Verification badges indicate that an account has been confirmed as the official representative of a club — they do not constitute endorsement or affiliation with any football federation.
By claiming a club, you represent that you have authority to act on behalf of that club. False claims may result in account suspension and legal action.
8. Minor accounts
Parents or legal guardians may create profiles for players under 18. By doing so, the adult account holder confirms they have the legal authority to provide the minor's data and accepts full responsibility for the accuracy of that data and its compliance with applicable law.
Minors cannot log in directly. At age 18, ownership can be transferred to the player via our verified transfer process. We do not knowingly allow minors to create independent accounts.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be error-free, uninterrupted or that any transfer will be completed.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from use of the
Platform shall not exceed the total credits purchased by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any transfer arrangement, employment decision or contract made between users.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@soccerwork.com. Unused credits are forfeited on account deletion.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms, without liability to you.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania and the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise. 12. Changes to terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you at least 30 days before material changes take effect, by email or notice on the Platform. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
